Medical School Admission

All of the medical schools use your score on the medical school admissions test in order to determine if you are eligible for enrollment. The schools also look at your over-all grade point average combined with your class ranking. Many of the schools will require that you write a personal essay to be submitted with your application. They will then combine all the academic requirements, scores, grade point average, quality of the essay, life experience in the field of medicine, extra-curricular activities and their perception of leadership skills to determine if you meet all the requirements to be enrolled in that particular school of medicine.
